Many of our fans may wonder why the VAT "Berkuts" show was cancelled at VFAT 2008 and as VFAT organizer and Berkuts Main Instructor I will explane why.

The saturday show was eventually cancelled after having many technical problems. At first, my LockOn crashed during the solo display and we had to start over. After we took off with the whole group, bad luck struck us again. The computer of our camera man crashed.....

After seeing that there was a 1 hour gap between the Virtual Blue Angels show and the SFT sunday, we decided to move the display to sunday.

On sunday though, bad luck struck us again.
The one hour gap fell away because the Virtual Blue Angels had many difficulties with starting up the streaming.

At that point, I took the decision not to fly our show at VFAT because it would have affected many teams with a huge time delay.

I feel sorry for our fans and in special our pilots, who trained very hard for this show. Luck will be on our side next year!

Speaking of the year 2009. We still have credits for a show on the VFAT live stream and we will show our VFAT 2008 display for public at the Berkuts 1st anniversary, the 18th of Januari.
